Tracy Leininger

Deputy Treasurer, City of Romulus

Tracy Leininger has served as Deputy Treasurer for the City of Romulus since 2009, bringing more than 15 years of experience in municipal finance and public funds management. She currently serves as Parliamentarian on the Michigan Municipal Treasurers Association (MMTA) board and is an active member of both the MMTA and the Association of Public Treasurers of the United States and Canada (APT US&C).

Tracy holds multiple professional designations, including Michigan Certified Public Treasurer (MiCPT), Certified Public Finance Administrator (CPFA), and Advanced Certified Public Funds Investment Manager (ACPFIM). She is also the current Treasurer of the Wayne County Treasurers Association (WCTA), where she previously served on the board from 2013–2016 and held the role of President in 2016.

In addition to her professional roles, Tracy has served as President of Romulus Goodfellows, Inc. since 2022, supporting community initiatives and charitable efforts in her hometown. She earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from Eastern Michigan University and remains a lifelong resident of Romulus.

Outside of her professional work, Tracy enjoys traveling and time with her family, including her husband, two grown children, two grandchildren, and two beloved dogs.
